Sustainably gathered daily by artisanal fishermen with 40+ years' experience, these fish are processed through a strict, cold-chain method, to ensure they are enjoyed in top condition.
Flounder are a mild, sweet-tasting fish that live in estuaries around the northern Kaipara Harbour, feeding on crustaceans and shellfish abundant in the area.
To cook we recommend pat-drying, lightly dusting with flour (or alternative) and pan-frying in butter & white wine for three—four minutes each side until their bellies are golden. Serve with a drizzle of lemon or seasoning of your choice.
Each pack contains 2 fish, either small, medium or large.
